I’m always on the hunt for good books and I’ve become a bit of a human search engine for my friends. So, I created this trusted resource for vetted picture book reviews, recommendations to learn and play with your kids, and inspiration for spending time in nature with your family. We do our best to show our kids that the world is big and diverse, and to demonstrate that it’s our job to protect people and the planet. The recommendations here carry this thread of diversity and sustainability. Every book on this site also carries my kids’ seal of entertainment approval, and I vow to never recommend a book I’ve had to verbally edit or cringed about repeat requests to read.
